Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? . . . No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
~Romans 8:35, 38-39

Trip to Asheville

This past weekend we went to Asheville for the French Broad Cycling Classic. Chris raced as well as his friends, Victor and David. All our families rented a cabin. We had 8 kids 6 years old and under! It was chaotic fun.

Saturday, Charity (Victor's wife) and I took the kids to the stables/farm at Biltmore.

Here are Josiah and Samuel playing with some farm animals.

Here are Sofia and Carissa.
Caleb with his version of the ring toss.
Josiah petting a draft horse.
Josiah, Caleb, Samuel, and Brady petting some chicks.
Caleb, Tomas, Samuel with Sofia, Josiah, & Brady!

Everyone having a snack in the shade.

Eating some blackberries in the Kitchen Garden.Later that afternoon Chris and Victor took all the boys to see David race. Here are Tomas, Brady, & Caleb with Chris, Samuel, & Josiah in the background.
